Aragon offers Edison Chen scandal photo and sex video downloads 谁找陈冠希艳照门淫照下载?

August 22nd, 2008

Edison Chen sex scandal Hot News: Today internet friends told me a website that offers Edison Chen scandal photo and sex video clips. I felt curious but Papa refused me to use his computer. I told Papa that I only want to look at the Edison Chen sex photo scandal and understand why Edison Chen’s naked pictures and Cecilia Cheung nude photos shake the world too much.

What a pity. But Papa told me that there may be Virus and Trojan in Edison Chen scandal photo downloads. Don’t let your computer down while searching Edison Chen naked pictures or Cecilia Cheung nude photos. Now I warned you. He said.

Yes, it’s the Edison Chen sex photo downloads to blame. Beware of Spyware While Browsing Edison Chen’s Sex Scandal Photos. The recent hot sex scandal photo issue which involved Hong Kong actor, Edison Chen Kwoon-Hei and numerous actresses such as Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung, Mandy Chen, Bobo Chan, Vincy Yeung, Maggie Q, Jolin Tsai, Jill Vidas, etc has dominated news headlines in Asia Pacific especially in Hong Kong and China.

Who now has not seen a naked picture or nude photo of Edison Chen and his girls? Do you know how many girls he has had? Name them, such as Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung, Vincy Yeung, Bobo Chan.

And you may know probably there are some other Hong Kong celebrities involved, such as Jolin Tsai, Shu Qi, Miriam Yeung, Elva Hsiao, Ella Koon, Stephy Tang and Maggie Q.
as well as Jill Vidas.

But, who knows the so-called Hong Kong celebrity photo scandal will end? And end as it is.

I was told the Edison Chen sex photo scandal at the beginning of Febuary this year, just at the term of the Chinese Spring Festival. Some of my friends send me some naked pictures and nude photos, which I thought belong to Edison Chen and his girls.

The Hong Kong authorities have been busy nabbing citizens and bloggers who’ve been disseminating the photos with their Indecency Act. At this day and age, the internet poses tough challenges due to the magnitude of the info explosion.

The latest photo released on the internet after Cecilia Chung was shockingly revealed to be Hong Kong singer, Joey Yung. However it was quite evident that was a Photoshop job with the awkward angle of her head. For the next few days, we’re expecting more of these digital manipulations to surface as netizens start having a field day spinning tales to gain eyeballs. Word has it now that the best of them all, Maggie Q is being saved for the last. The world awaits with bated breath.

Other Tidbits:

Edison revealed in a 2006 interview that he lost his virginity at 13 and that his favourite exercise is “having sex”.

Rumours are rife that the marriage of Cecilia Cheung and Nicholas Tse is on the rocks over the scandal. However, Patrick Tse, Nicholas’s father, has refuted these rumours. A spokesman for Cecilia said the actress hopes the culprit will be apprehended soon. She also dismissed rumours of her marriage turning sour and said their relationship was good, and thanked everyone for their concern.

There has also been talk that Gillian Chung (who was embroiled in another scandal earlier last year involving stealth shots taken backstage when she was performing in Malaysia) had attempted suicide following the scandal.

Hi, is it real or not. Hardly can believe it. Read more about the news Aragon offers Edison Chen scandal photo and sex video clips. Anything to say?

XV. Long Life Seen from a Third Eye

August 22nd, 2008

“the first eye” is life sciences, and “the second eye” is high and new medicine, then, “the third eye” is the vision of dialectical philosophy.

In this world,so long as we have the “three sufficients”, namely, sufficient intelligence, sufficient investment and sufficient time, any impossible wish may be turned into vivid reality. Eternal life is no exception, either.

If we say “the first eye” is life sciences, and “the second eye” is high and new medicine, then, “the third eye” is the vision of dialectical philosophy.
In the face of the twilight of life sciences and the great leaps in high and new medicine, we cannot but feel a great hope for eternal life. However, it is hard to avoid the last doubt still existent in some people’s mind about eternal life. Is eternal life really possible? Hence, it is very necessary for us to ponder over eternal life from the viewpoint of dialectical philosophy.

 (I) Theory of Law and Theory of Condition
The motion of any matter in the world has its own objective laws, and are controlled by its objective laws. Whether we do things according to objective laws is the key to success or failure in all our activities for knowing or changing the world. Sun Bin (famous strategist in the Warring States Period) had a famous saying: “Victory lies in knowing of the way.” “Failure lies in ignorance of the way.” The “way” here refers to the objective law. When we esteem it and utilize it,the law will become our weapon, helping us win victory smoothly;Otherwise, if we contempt it or go against it,the law will become our opponent, making us run our heads against a wall and bite the ground.
It is generally agreed that,in all things, since there is birth, there must be death. Births and deaths, one after another, constitute an inevitable and irreversible natural law. When people have taken it for granted that “Since there is birth, there must be death” is an unalterable law, whoever dares to seek eternal life will be regarded as talking nonsense, making the undermost and most ridiculous mistake, that is, disregarding objective laws.
However,we must know, any law hangs on a certain condition. “Water runs to a lower place” is an objective law of nature. Nevertheless, under a certain condition, “Water runs to a lower place” can be changed into “Water runs to a higher place”. When I was wandering in a park, watching the fountain rushing up like a jade pole, an idea suddenly occurred to me:So long as the conditions are changed, the natural law of “water flows downward” should have been changed to the opposite artificially!
According to universal gravitation law, because of the gravitation, things heavier than air cannot fly, but under certain conditions, it is not so at all. They can not only get off the ground, but also fly with a heavy load.
All these have proved:Law is changeable, but it does not mean you can change it arbitrarily. Only if the condition has changed can the law change accordingly. And in change of the condition, you must also follow a certain objective law. That is called “changing the law by the law”.
On the one hand, before the law, everyone is equal,it “does not exist because of Yao (the good emperor), nor does it die because of Jie (the bad emperor)”, that is, it is independent of people’s will;On the other hand, the law changes with the condition: so long as the condition changes, the law will change correspondingly. People often only know the constancy of the law, but do not know its changeability, that is, they have not realized the truth that “we can change law by law”.
In the birth, development and extinction of anything, there is its inherent law. Any law hangs on a certain condition, and all conditions are changeable. Hence, all laws can be changed.
In all ages, the life of a person resulted from the parents’ joint work. Without the direct cooperation by both sexes and without the “ten months’ pregnancy” in the female’s body, there could never be the “giving birth” to a new life. In the long river of history, uncountable persons’ life came into being in this way, without exception. It was regarded as a never-changeable objective law determined by nature. However, who could think, along with the development of high technology, we have been able to produce test-tube babies, to do asexual reproduction, to clone life… completely changing the law of birth! Since the law of birth could be changed so greatly, so can the law of death!
“Since there is birth, there must be death” is a “law” we have derived from a certain historical context. According to the truth of “changing law by law”, so long as we create the condition and change the condition, we can also change “Since there is birth, there must be death” into “Since there is birth, there must be eternal life”. Facts have proved that in organisms, birth is certain, but death is not necessarily certain. Scientists have discovered a germ that has lived for 250 million years! And they think, since it has already lived for 250 million years, there is no problem for it to live for another 250 million years.
In the past, scientists used the number of times of cell division and the time of division to deduce human lifespan. Human cells can only divide for 50 times or so,and each division cycle is 2.4 years,so, the deduced limit of human lifespan is 120 years or so. Hence, scientists usually regard the age of 120 as the impassable limit of human lifespan. But, is it really insurmountable and unchangeable? Absolutely not! Today’s scientific research has proved that:By the telomerase, we can increase the number of times of cell division or prolong the division cycle, so as to prolong human life span greatly. Thus, the lifetime limitation of 120 years has been declared to be wrong! Facts have shown forcefully:So long as we change the condition, the law will change correspondingly for certain!
In a wide view of the life span history of mankind, along with mankind’s advancement, people’s life span has been advancing all the time, too. In the bronze ware period characterized by low productive forces 4000 year ago, people’s average lifetime was only 18 years, and in the ancient Roman era, it was 23~25 years. In our country, the average lifetime of various periods is like this: in the Xia and Shang Dynasties, it was 18 years; In the Qin and Han Dynasties, it was 20 years; In the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was 22 years; In the Tang Dynasty, it was 27 years; In the Song Dynasty, it was 30 years; In the Qing Dynasty, it was 33 years; In the period of Republic of China, it was 35 years; In 1985, it already reached 68.92 years, and in 2000, it climbed to 71 years… Chinese people’s lifespan extended by more than one time in the short period of 50 years after liberation! In the past, “People seldom live to be seventy years old”,but now “Seventy is no longer a high age”, and in many countries, the average lifespan has already exceeded 70 years. The constant escalation of human lifespan results from the constant change of mankind’s life conditions. Such a change is a gradual process. Now we are in the century of life sciences, so we shall usher in great leaps in this aspect. As far as the present is concerned, the breakthroughs in life sciences have already changed people’s understanding of the lifespan greatly. Scientists are beginning to declare it is not a hard matter for human lifespan to reach 1200 years. It can be predicted, with the continual advance in life science and technology, 10 years, 50 years, or 100 years later, even greater breakthroughs will certainly appear in the limit of human lifespan. Thus it can be seen,by science and technology plus objective laws, we may change the existence condition of people’s life, and the change of the existence condition of the life may in turn change the law of life. Hence, with the continual breakthrough in technology, there is no limit to human lifespan.
In a long time,we had only a smattering of knowledge about the secrets of life, simply thinking the law of life could not be changed, thus, we reached various incorrect conclusions arbitrarily. This has reminded me of the words by the financial wizard Sorrows who raised the financial storm of Southeast Asia: “All our views about this world are defective and distorted”. The same is true of our views on life. Perhaps, all our views on life have serious defects and distortions.
We have such an old saying: “Nothing in the world is difficult for one who sets his mind on it”. Any hard thing in the world will become easy to a willing mind. Such people are those who can understand and utilize the law comprehensively and profoundly, and those who are good at creating conditions to change the law. Before such people, the “hard thing” of eternal life will also become an “easy matter” ultimately. XV. Long Life Seen from a Third Eye

American Idol in Charity: Star-maker with millions donated to charities

The star-maker finds its serious side with millions donated to charities

Longtime ratings juggernaut “American Idol” made headlines of a different kind in 2007 by generating more than $76 million in aid for charities.

Underprivileged children in the U.S. and Africa were helped by “Idol Gives Back,” which united the show’s regulars and remaining contestants — along with celebrities and viewers — to furnish time, attention and money.

The second annual edition airs Wednesday, and Fox has allocated an extra half-hour beyond its normal prime-time lineup.

The massive guest lineup seems to demand it. As of this writing, the roster included Bono, Fergie, Mariah Carey, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, John Legend, Annie Lennox, Maroon 5, Heart, Gloria Estefan, Boyz II Men and the Clark Brothers, NFL player siblings Eli and Peyton Manning, and “Idol” alumni Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry. Ellen DeGeneres will reprise her co-host role.

Simon Cowell admits he never foresaw involvement in an “Idol Gives Back” before 2007. Then, the famously caustic “Idol” judge traveled and witnessed firsthand the beneficiaries’ desperate circumstances, as did fellow judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson and series host Ryan Seacrest.

“It worked, I think, because it actually made sense,” Cowell says. “A guy named Richard Curtis (the writer-director of the movie ‘Love Actually’) had pushed for this kind of awareness for years in the U.K., and he wanted to do something similar in America. ‘American Idol’ seemed the obvious place to go for the kind of awareness he wanted. That was his main priority; yes, we want to raise money, but most importantly, we want to raise awareness.”

As a music executive and a television producer and personality, Cowell allows that visiting underdeveloped regions is far from his norm. Still, he deemed it essential for “Idol Gives Back.”

“If you’re going to talk about it, you’ve actually got to witness it. Otherwise, you genuinely don’t know what you’re talking about. That was part of the deal, that we would actually go out and see what the problems were. The second issue was that at least 50 percent of the money raised had to go to American charities. (’Idol’) is an American show supported by American viewers, and everyone was happy to go along with that.”

This year, the charities receiving proceeds from “Idol Gives Back” are: the Children’s Defense Fund; the Children’s Health Fund; the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; the Brad Pitt-founded Make It Right, benefiting New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina; Malaria No More; and Save the Children.

The recipient of a Governors’ Emmy for its first round, “Idol Gives Back” is suiting Cowell’s itinerary better this time. “I used to fly back to London once a week and do another show,” he says, “but I’m very good with the schedule while I’m over here now. I have to tell you, it was a nightmare, but I’m pretty much based in the U.S. now (during an ‘American Idol’ season).”

Cowell says that in preparation for “Idol Gives Back,” he, Abdul, Jackson and Seacrest “all have been traveling to different parts of America. We’re working with different charities we’re interested in, but it’s really the same thing again. Without bashing people over the head and making them feel uncomfortable, it’s simply a matter of, ‘Did you know these problems existed, and do you want to do something about it?’

“We were always very clear that we didn’t want to preach on this show,” Cowell adds. ” ‘American Idol’ is an entertainment show, so you’ve got to strike the right balance, but you react in different ways. When I do the filming (of the on-location ‘Idol Gives Back’ segments), that’s a whole different experience from judging singers.”

In that sense, Cowell maintains he would have changed one thing about “Idol Gives Back” last time, “and I hope we do it this year. I think we should still kick somebody off. The charity is one thing, but ‘American Idol’ is still ‘American Idol.” It’s still a competition, and I hope that will be continued this time.”

Admittedly, fitting the regular contest into everything else entailed by “Idol Gives Back” could be tricky. For one thing, there’s the parade of big-name guests, and Cowell isn’t the least bit surprised so many have signed up.

“Artists aren’t stupid,” he says. “When they can reach millions of people, they’re available. I’m being sarcastic there, but it doesn’t do them any harm. It’s not much to ask them to turn up and sing a song, is it?”

Cowell fully realizes and appreciates what “American Idol” fame has afforded him. He has produced such other series as ABC’s “American Inventor” and NBC’s soon-to-return “America’s Got Talent,” and in his native England, the hugely popular “The X Factor.”

“At the end of the day,” Cowell says, “the only reason we do (’American Idol’) is to find artists. One of the biggest stars in the U.K. in the past 10 years, Leona Lewis, came through ‘The X Factor.’ She has the No. 1 record in about 25 countries right now.

“I think ‘American Idol’ was a very good springboard for all of us, but I would have to say ‘The X Factor’ and the ‘Got Talent’ brand — which is now in 50 countries — is equally important (to me). The show you’re on at the time has to become your priority.”

I think Sports figures “glorify” criminal activites, not video games. Again where are the parents when their kids are getting “commercially” available material? What’s the difference in showing porno movies to Blood and Gore movies. They’re accepted because they’re movies and not a game.
Asshat.

My game stop is giving away codes to download songs from GTA music store

perhaps ‘promotes’ was the wrong word. GLORIFIES would be more accurate. But you cannot disregard the influencial impact as a medium that video games have on kids.So are you saying in the same respect that it would be just fine to make porn comercially available to minors since they’re ‘just movies’?

i just called best buy and they had no idea they were giving out 50 dollar giftcards - i live in the us though, in case that was supposed to be a foreign deal or something.
GTA4 is a game. It does not promote violence and criminal activities, proof? Our moral integrity suffers because of a game? Never mind the break down of the traditional family or the movies, huh. Asshat.

gta 4 is a game to promote violence and criminal activities. pure and simple. it is a deplorable disregard for any sense of moral integrety.

The popular pick among some of the analysts about who had the best 2008 NFL Draft is the Kansas City Chiefs.  I think they were solid, but with 12 (?) picks you better find a good player here and there.

I think the Pittsburgh Steelers had a great draft.  In particular RB Rashard Mendenhall and WR Limas Sweed, who I think are both steals for where they were drafted.  QB Dennis Dixon could also be a major find.

Miley Cyrus Cries Foul over Vanity Fair Photos, Nude or Not?

Cyrus embarrassed, Disney critical of Vanity Fair photo spread - Miley Cyrus is taking issue with a photo of herself that’s going around, and it’s not another amateur, truth-or-dare Internet snapshot — it’s the handiwork of Annie Leibovitz.

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” Cyrus said Sunday in a statement through her publicist. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

The photos, appearing in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, were taken by Leibovitz, a renowned celebrity photographer whose edgy, silver-toned portraits have included subjects such as Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson and a naked, pregnant Demi Moore.

“I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted,” Leibovitz said in a statement released by Vanity Fair. “Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”

The Cyrus pictures accompany an interview with the 15-year-old pop star and her father, singer Billy Ray Cyrus. One photo in particular is causing the biggest stir: the teen idol is wrapped in what appears to be a satin bedsheet, looking over her shoulder with her back exposed.

The Disney Channel, which airs Cyrus’ TV show “Hannah Montana,” was also critical of Vanity Fair.

“Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines,” a network statement said.

Vanity Fair defended the story and photo shoot in a statement of its own.

“Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day,” the magazine said. “Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley.”

In a caption released by Vanity Fair with the photo, Cyrus expressed her comfort with how the apparently topless picture turned out.

“I think it’s really artsy,” she told the magazine at the time. “It wasn’t in a skanky way. Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought that was really cool. That’s what she wanted me to do, and you can’t say no to Annie.”

A handful of borderline racy snapshots of a girl who appeared to be Cyrus have appeared on the Internet in recent months, including images of a girl posing in her underwear and bikini last week. In one shot, she’s draped over a young man.

Cyrus is one of the biggest — and most G-rated — acts in the country and is often considered a role model for young girls. Her “Best of Both Worlds” tour sold out arenas, and her successful 3-D concert film collected $31.3 million in its opening weekend in February.

American Idol Contestants Story: Poor David Cook Must Prepare for Contest

This week, we learned several things about David Cook: He has high blood pressure, a brother who may be battling cancer, and some of his most devoted fans call him “Cookie.”

Oh, and any obscure bands who want to glom on to his “American Idol” success because he covered their cover of a famous song should just go back to their bar gigs and be quiet, because this week, he did his own great arrangement on Dolly Parton’s “Little Sparrow.” So there.

It’s getting to look more and more like this season will inevitably come down to David Cook vs. David Archuleta. Which David you’re rooting for probably depends a lot on your age, taste in music, geographic location and preferences regarding Disney films and sappy ballads.

But only crazy people don’t enjoy the songwriting talents of Dolly Parton, so this week was a gift no matter which David you’re rooting for.

David Archuleta: Yes, CUTEBOT-5000 sang “Smoky Mountain Memories” to the best of his programmed abilities this week, inspiring awe from the judges, the parting of the heavens, and little bluebirds to follow him everywhere he goes. Cranky me, I still don’t like listening to 17-year-olds sing songs about losing their great love or missing their Tennessee mountain home — but it’s not his fault he’s so much younger than everyone else. It’s his evil stage dad’s fault.

Jason Castro: Perhaps this was the biggest surprise of the night — Spicoli’s big bounce back with an understated, heartfelt “Travelin’ Through.” Not really sure what Simon found fault with on this one, I just think he hates hippies in general.

Carly Smithson: Poor Carly can’t catch a break. She sings so well on “Here You Come Again,” but then Ryan Seacrest toys with her about whether she’s safe, and Simon picks on her outfits. As if being forced to ‘fess up to her Spanx pudge-controlling undies last week wasn’t bad enough. It’s just all so desperate and sad, really.

Michael Johns: Surprisingly good on “It’s All Wrong, But Balance = 30.0 pts It’s All Right” since he went to that bluesy/soul side that really suits his voice. He proved he’s still a contender (and still an Aussie hottie). But what the heck was with the ascot?

Brooke White: I had high hopes for her version of “Jolene,” but she didn’t deliver. Not that she could ever top Dolly’s, but she could have come up with something good in the Mindy Smith vein. So where was the torture in her voice, the desperation of a woman pleading with that hussy Jolene not to take her man? Brooke was smiling during her performance. Not good. America’s favorite Nanny has got to emote something deeper than sunshine and smiley faces if she’s going to win.

Syesha Mercado: It’s not that she didn’t sing well — it’s just that she’s so predictable. Everyone knew she wouldn’t be able to resist going near Whitney’s version of “I Will Always Love You.” She should have had the good sense to pick a different song, throw everyone off kilter and steal the show. It wasn’t bad, but it was pretty boring.

Kristy Lee Cook: She just shouldn’t have gone anywhere near “Coat of Many Colors,” because she would be measured by the original (not even close). You can’t condense a story-song like that in Idol’s short time frame, and even Kristy Lee knows she’s overstayed her welcome. Please don’t make her stay, America. Let her go home to her horseys.

Ramiele Malubay: Cute as a button, decent voice, but she just never could cut it as a live performer on the level of the other top nine. “Do I Ever Cross Your Mind” was one of her better efforts, but it was still pretty boring. And why did the stylists always insist on dressing her as a street urchin/extra from “Girls Just Want To Have Fun?”

The following are just comments, not from the author. Please leave your message afterwards. Thank you:

1. 4/6/2008 2:35:17 AM, Meleah,
I’ll have to disagree with you on David A. I’m in my late 20s, I usually hate sappy ballads and Disney films… yet, I still think Archuleta’s voice is the best. By a long mile.
2. 4/6/2008 3:10:17 AM, Melissa, Walnut
I also disagree with you on David A. Like Meleah, I’m in my late 20s and prefer alternative rock music. However, I can still enjoy David A., as he has the best voice and connects well with the audience at large. As far as the “evil dad” comment, I don’t see how that’s relevant even if true.
3. 4/6/2008 3:40:55 AM, D du Plessis,
Your assessment of David A is shallow and ill-informed. As Dolly herself said “he has the voice to become a great, great singer”.
I’m a 50 year old businessman with 25 years of classical music training. Archuleta is a genuine talent.
4. 4/6/2008 8:53:37 AM, Denise, Tulsa
Simon doesn’t hate hippes, Jason is one of his picks to win. And I agree!
5. 4/6/2008 9:05:29 AM, Sandra Jackson, Seguin, TX
Your characterization of David A. is truly naive. Yes, his age & youthful good-looks may cause a first impression of Disney material . . . But, if you had been LISTENING, you would realize that his talent is far beyond the likes of Hannah Montana . . . or his fellow AI contestants. As a 50 yr old fan, I believe he will easily avoid the tween trap & give us the artistic performances we crave!
6. 4/6/2008 10:10:21 AM, Chris, Niantic
I agree with Denise. I actually think Simon likes Jason a lot based on his prediction to take top 3 as well as previous comments from the show. I think he’s been hard on him lately because Jason doesn’t display this desperation to win. He doesn’t sing self serving songs (like Johns, Carly and Cook) and takes risks on obscure songs like “Hallelujah” and “Fragile”-which may or may not pay off as we’ve seen. This is why I love Jason and likely won’t watch once he’s voted off. He’s an angel to hear sing
7. 4/6/2008 10:19:11 AM, Cheryl, san jose
I completely agree. David A. — doesn’t he sing the same song every week???? And yes, Dolly did say that he had the voice to become a great singer one day…So doesn’t that mean he’s not a great singer YET???
8. 4/6/2008 10:36:50 AM, Archiegirl,
sorry but I think David Archuleta is the most
talented singer for me on the show. His voice is unique and he doesn’t sound the same every week..
I’m his biggest fan and i’m not a teeneger…
9. 4/6/2008 10:56:44 AM, Summar,
i am so tired of people saying they see him out of the disney channel. I think the only reson is what he is young, and cute, and his humbleness…. if u listen to his voice not looking at him you would never guess he was a 17 year old. he has an amazing voice and he hasn’t only sung ballads if u remeber his first performance was shop around,we can work it out sure he forgott his lyrics but everyone does it carrie underwood did u should hear the studio version amazing, or your the voice i really liked it he sang it great. he is 17 people he is only going to get better.
10. 4/6/2008 11:08:30 AM, Elle, New York
If we speak about talent, David Cook’s going to win the show.
11. 4/6/2008 11:30:15 AM, Kathy Hagan, Topeka, Kansas
You know, your critique would hold more weight if you’d leave any obvious bias out of it. You ASSUME that David Archuleta’s audience is young and into Disney music. I’m an actual fan and I’ve noted that he has a pretty vast older audience, both male and female, and that often they are music lovers. To me, his youth and looks are almost a side note. He makes me want to hear every note. He makes me feel every word. That’s talent.

P.S. Note how I managed to share my viewpoint without bashing any other contestant?
12. 4/6/2008 11:59:24 AM, Eric Hook, Baltimore
Cary sp?
I am on the East Coast, Like his Disney songs, and don’t mind his age. I feel his feelings in the songs he picks and sings, rather than picking someone else’s arrangements.
You truly have issues that are worth, not writing about, cause that would seem more objective, but rather worth seeing a psych about.
take care. PLease learn how to give someone their due.
As put in the end of last year, when I did not understand at the time, IT IS A SINGING COMPETITION
Who has the better voice
Who can sing better
Good luck in your career…seriously…u would be taken more seriously if you were more objective
13. 4/6/2008 12:31:07 PM, D. du Plessis,
re- Cheryl’s comment
When Dolly Parton said that David A had the voice to become a “great, great singer”, she was diplomatically singling him out as the one singer who has the potential to become great vocal artist. Few singers have the innate ability to touch the audience, combined with outstanding vocal facility and quality. Becoming a great artist requires life experiences that none of the competitors on AI could possibly have, due to age restrictions. The show is all about discovering potential.

Did you download the itunes version of Travelin’ Thru? It is perfect (as you might expect a studio version to be). I think it’s too bad we don’t get more than 1 1/2 minutes to hear these performers. You can’t appreciate Jason Castro’s talents in that short of a time span. He is so heartfelt in his singing, and has a great tone and range, if allowed to sing an entire song. I hope Simon is right and we see Jason with the Davids in the top three.
16. 4/6/2008 2:43:12 PM, Shannon,
David A. is a FABULOUS singer, but every time I hear him sing, I think Disney. My 7 year old niece adores him. David A. has a long and wonderful career in front of him. Whether its on the Disney channel or elsewhere.
As far as David C., whether he wins or not, his objective has already been complete. He has a huge fan base and will follow up in the footsteps and maybe even bypass Chris Daughtry’s success. He has a lucrative career ahead of them in the music business, and thats the real goal, yes?
There is room for both Davids in the music industry. True both of them won’t win American Idol, but who really cares who “wins”? The execs at AI want us to care, but the real first place prize isn’t winning “first” place.

I hope they are the top two because I enjoy both and want to see them on my tv for as long as possible. But seriously, didn’t they both already “win”.

17. 4/6/2008 5:31:14 PM, B. V., Tulsa
I’m 42. What’s the Disney Channel? No, I’ve heard of it. I like David A.’s singing because he’s got talent. His youth only means he’s got many years of success ahead of him. David C. can’t seem to get away from his guitar and let his singing talent speak for him.
18. 4/6/2008 6:10:36 PM, Scott, West Hollywood, CA
Couldn’t agree with you more! My money is on David Cook. He’s going to have a huge career regardless.
19. 4/6/2008 6:36:40 PM, Duane, San Diego
I also 100% agree.

David Cook is going to beat David Enchilada, no contest.

David Cook is genius.
20. 4/6/2008 6:46:14 PM, Kim, Cold Spring Harbor
I think– as what is playing on the radio proves right now– one does not have to win AI to be a star and get a record deal. I think a couple of winners from AI have basically disappeared. Yes? So there is room for both Davids.
21. 4/6/2008 8:29:15 PM, lisa rose,
As a journalist I would suggest you get some new material. Its been written before about David A and the Disney thing. I think that’s causes he looks the part, but his singing ability is way beyond the disney, teen idol stuff. I am 34 and think this kid has one of the strongest voices I have heard on idol. He also has many, many older fans. I think people are not giving him enough credit on his ability to sell past AI, his itunes are always up there better then most of the other idols.
22. 4/6/2008 9:20:32 PM, Concerned, Toronto, Ontario
This will be my last look at your web. I can’t stand reading your columns being critical of David A. For the first time in AI, only now that I believe that a contestant is worthy of being watched, with his wholesome image, sweet, God-loving, all the nice adjectives, by the name of David A. All my friends and I hate your web now.
23. 4/6/2008 9:59:20 PM, Jules,
As a David Archuleta Fan (age 34):

I am disgusted by what I see written here. People calling David names. We do not call David Cook names. Actually, we pray for David Cook’s health and the health of his brother. (Look at the FabBlast site for David Archuleta).

I would ask that you give David Archuleta the same respect given to David Cook. You don’t have to like his singing, don’t listen, but please respect him as a human being.
24. 4/6/2008 10:03:13 PM, jen,
I agree with most of the previous posters. I am 29, not a fan of the Disney channel, and think that David A. is great, great singer. He connects with me and most of my friends around the same age. We all vote for him and will buy his albums. You are clearly biased toward David Cook, who is also talented, by the way. But like previous posters suggested, you would be taken much more seriously if you tried being a little more objective and stopped recycling the same old crap that we hear elsewhere. Both Davids will be successful, but I’ll take David A. and his beautiful voice any day.
25. 4/6/2008 11:05:40 PM, KathyKat,
I’m 43 and an Asian who lives in Manila. I’m not a fan of American Idol but David Archuleta made me one. He is truly talented and the only one who deserves to win the title. If you’ve read the sites on him, he has touched the lives not only of young Americans but people from all ages, race and gender.

Singer Lisa Marie Presley To Sue Over Article
Pregnant star Lisa Marie Presley is set to sue the Daily Mail over an article.  The Daily Mail ran a story talking about the weight of Presley, when in reality she was not getting fat, just pregnant.

Presley stated that the article was “disgusting.”  It forced her to come out and confess to the public that she was indeed pregnant, clearly before she ever planned to do so.

Her UK lawyer Simon Smith stated that Presley was very upset after pictures appeared last week in publications, talking about her weight problems and unhealthy habits.

Presley stated that the attack by the media caused her to announce the pregnancy.

She is happy to be pregnant and to expect a baby, but she is very upset about the manner in which she had to reveal it.
